🔹 About the vacancy

We are recruiting four ICT Systems Specialists to support the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Communications, LAN & WAN Administration, Security and Maritime Systems systems on board a floating natural gas production platform (FLNG).
The specialist will be responsible for a system, ensuring high availability, reliability and compliance with offshore operational standards.

1. MARITIME SYSTEMS SPECIALIST

🎯 Main Responsibilities:
Maintenance and troubleshooting of maritime communication and navigation systems, including:

• O GMDSS, SSAS, Navigation Radar, DGPS, Berthing Aids, Ship-to-Ship Communication

• System diagnostics, repair and performance monitoring.

• Ensure integration with offshore operational safety systems.

• Ensure compliance with maritime and safety regulations (IMO and SOLAS).

 

✅ Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Experience with offshore maritime navigation and communication systems.

• Certifications: GMDSS Operator Certificate (preferred), BOSIET, Medical Examination to work Offshore.

2. LAN & WAN ADMINISTRATOR

🎯 Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the LAN/WAN infrastructure on board the FLNG.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity, VLAN configurations, and routing protocols.

• Perform security assessments and deploy firewalls and VPNs.

• Manage structured cabling systems and offshore industrial networks.

 

✅ Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networks or IT Engineering.

• Certifications: CCNA/CCNP (Cisco), CompTIA Network+ or equivalent.

• Experience with corporate networks, structured cabling and offshore IT security.

• Offshore safety training (BOSIET, Offshore Medical Examination).

3. SECURITY SYSTEMS EXPERT

🎯 Main Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and configuration of CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems.

• Diagnose security network integration and FLNG monitoring infrastructure issues.

• Maintain and operate the Automatic Identification System (AIS) for maritime tracking and security.

• Conduct risk assessments and cybersecurity monitoring.

✅ Requirements:

• Degree in Security Systems, IT or Electronic Engineering.

• Certifications: Certified Security Systems Engineer (CSSE), CISSP or equivalent.

• Experience with offshore security systems, access control and CCTV networks.

• Offshore certifications (BOSIET, Offshore Medical Examination).

4. TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS SPECIALIST

🎯 Main Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA) systems, IPBX and UHF/VHF radio networks.

• Configuration and management of hotline and call recording systems.

• Ensure reliable communications for emergency operations and operational activities.

• Update software and optimize telecommunications networks.

 

✅ Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics or related field.

• Certifications: RF Communications, PAGA or IP Telephony (Avaya, Cisco).

• Experience with offshore telecommunications networks, UHF/VHF radio systems and IP telephony.

• Offshore safety training (BOSIET, Offshore Medical Examination).
